To jump in mid-stream during season 1 of Anderson Cooper’s daytime talk show, “Anderson” and take the reigns of the promos creative director roll . I wrote, shot, and produced episodic scripts daily for this emmy-winning daytime talk show.
Working on “Anderson” was a unique challenge as, so much of the show was based on news and current events. It’s surely no surprise that the host keeps a very busy schedule and his duties for CNN send him far-afield, sometimes, with no warning. If a news story breaks in Middle East (as it did at least once during my tenure as creative director) and at the same time a scheduling change happens back on “Anderson” in New York, it was my job to solve for the problem of tomorrow’s promo.
